Position Type: Student Support Services/Special Education Teacher-Resource Date Posted: 3/7/2024 Location: Eleanor Rush Intermediate School Closing Date: 03/17/2024 Special Education Teacher - Rush School The Special Education teacher will be responsible for providing instruction to students in grade 3, 4 or 5 with special needs in a resource and/or in-class support setting. The teacher will implement best practice strategies in the classroom while recognizing individual instructional needs; provide accommodations and modifications to curriculum and materials to meet students' needs; communicate effectively with team members and parents; and perform other responsibilities as assigned. The position also requires the teacher to oversee and provide support to any Educational Support Professionals assigned to the classroom or individual students.
